British APCO Autumn Event – registration closes on Monday 3rd November
British APCO would like to remind you of their Autumn Event taking place at St James’ Park, Newcastle on the 11th and 12th of November 2014, and the B-APCO Public Safety Communications Course being held on the 10th of November at the same venue.
The Autumn Event is aimed at and recommended for anyone involved in public safety communications, be they public sector, private sector, user, supplier or consultant.
The B-APCO Public Safety Communications course is designed to develop the understanding of current capabilities for interoperable and resilient telecommunications in the public safety (resilience and events) sectors.
Objectives
By the end of the course attendees will be able to:
- Assess a range of relevant telecommunications media (voice and data)
- Identify good practice relating to event and incident communications, command/control and ‘on scene’ communications
- Describe the benefits and application of communications interoperability for events and incidents
Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both days and delegate car parking is available at the venue.
